At Floreat we promote a culture of empathy amongst the children and staff. We focus on ensuring every child’s voice is heard and put wellbeing, resilience and mental health at the centre of our work. As a Character school we take huge pride in supporting the whole character of a child and spend time modelling, reading and debating the 18 virtues. We know that happy children thrive academically and socially.
Floreat Wandsworth received a Kitemark Award in June 2022 for recognising commitment to children’s well-being
We know that from time to time families will be going through difficult periods. As a school we encourage parents to keep us informed of anything that they may be experiencing and we aim to support them wherever possible.
If you feel that your child requires support for social, emotional and mental health we advise you to contact our Assistant Head of Inclusion and SENDCo Mrs Styles. Referrals to CAMHS can be made by the Mrs Styles and support from the ELSA Team can be arranged.
